If the display on the laptop is removed, will the BIOS screen show up on the separately connected monitor?

I have a dell laptop with a cracked display and I used it by connecting a secondary screen. Now the laptop does not turn on until Windows. I think the BIOS shows an error on the screen and I do not see the error because the screen is cracked. Can I view the BIOS screen from a separate monitor if I remove it?

Probably yes as there would be only one display for output. Then it may depend on how the bios was configured by the oem.
