Need some help

Go to solution Solved by Yume09,

IT'S WORKING!

I had to install the old MEI and run the 4th gen bios updater and it  finally worked thank you guys

So since times are though I've been been using an old rig that I'm upgrading bit my bit and rn I've run into an issue

The motherboard is an H81m-k I was using an Intel pentium g3220 before I updated bios and now I'm installing an i5 4460 and I'm getting no display, although when I switch back to the pentium signal comes back

If anyone can help me out with the issue would be much appreciated!

Processor: ehh i5 4460/pentium g3220

Gpu: 1050 ti 4gb

Reset CMOS

even though updating BIOs should have cleared it, it would be good to try in case there's something preventing a boot.

Have you tried using the integrated graphics when booting with the i5? You might have to set the board to use the DGPU in BIOs.

Bought it today, I suppose it is, I also tried an i3 4160 that I had here from another pc which I'm sure works and had the exact same issue
