Isn't this like the third time you've started threads asking the same question?

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. The i7 with the 1060 would be better. You want the hyperthreading of the i7. That being said make sure you don't try and install the i7 on the motherboard that your i5 currently in as they are different sockets. I know you were asking about that in a separate thread.

I see, so the i7 would not fit anyway, so i would need another motherboard, correct?

You don't have a board for the 4790?

yes i do but, it is ddr3 and i would be sacrificing 16gb ram in my current ddr4 with i5 7400, i do not know whether it would be worth it or not because 16gb is really important is some games.

16GB DDR3 isn't that expensive on eBay.

I would consider selling both CPU's and the 4790's board and buying an i7-7700.

if it was that easy i would buy it, but these are really expensive and i got no money now, but thanks to your suggestion. Something else, is it worth getting a 144hz monitor for a 1050ti and i5 7400? will i have stuttering because of the CPU? can i lower the HZ to stop this issue?

I'm positive you already posted a thread about this and got multiple answers.
