Hi friends.
On my Asus Strix 7.1 headphones I left the cable bent on this place,I tried to unwrap it but before I did I noticed this copper part noticeable which shouldn' be there.
Now I am afrraid that cable might broke there.
What should I do?
Should I try to unwrap it or leave it as it is?

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

You could use some ductape to protect it. That headphone doesn't have detachable cable?

Nope.

I really dunno why the cable wraps by it's own at 2 locations.

I guess because it's braided.

I will use blsck ductape.

But this place now is not a possibilty in future for cable to break?

Well, the only one possibility I can think is the materials used. I have braided audio cable but they are really thick.

Black ductape is indeed what I would use too if one of my cables are bent. So apply the ductape and best is to stay cautious with it. You could use some materials around the bent place and then apply ductape to make it sturdy.

Should I make it straight and then wrap with tape or just wrap on the shape as it is?
