After updating bios, my pc says “ Reboot, and Select proper Boot device”

Hey guys, big problem here. Alright, i was having some issues with my computer, so i decided to update my bios. That went well but I have a gen3 riser on a gen4 mb so i had to dismantle my pc and place my gpu directly so i could set it to gen3. Anyways when i built my computer back, i got it to post but it started to say “Reboot, and Select proper Boot device” i tried to change my boot order so that my nvme drive could load up windows but it still gave me the same message, i even went as far as to unplug every other drive i have to get it to work but it always give me the same message. Any help guys? Thanks!
 

Ps: I’ve also gotten it to say something about my OS being missing but I don’t know. Im honestly lost here so any help would be appreciated  I’m on windows 11, forgot to mention.

If you can boot from a Windows 10 install media drive, you should be able to fix your issue. I reckon it has something to do with the EFI partition on your drive after the BIOS update, that'll likely be why it says your OS is missing. 

 

I could be wrong but worth a shot.

After i boot to a windows 11 install media drive, what do i do? I want to keep my data  ofcourse

This info would have been useful before hand, I know you've just edited your original post to reflect it. 

 

I'm afraid to say that Windows 11 is a different kettle of fish, neither have I worked on it myself so I could be very little help from here on. I can imagine the process is not too dissimilar to using a Windows 10 bootable usb though.
