Hey I need help with my fps and refresh rate being capped a 40. This has only recently happened to me. my gaming laptop is a https://www.johnlewis.com/asus-rog-zephyrus-g14-ga401qm-gaming-laptop-amd-ryzen-9-processor-16gb-ram-1tb-ssd-geforce-rtx-3060-14-inch-full-hd-white/p5713583?sku=240088445&s_ppc=2dx92700065812744050&tmad=c&tmcampid=2&gclsrc=ds&gclsrc=ds (ROG Zephyrus G14)

If I go on a game, my frame rate is capped at 40fps and when I go https://www.testufo.com/ it says 40hz and 40fps. It also says in my windows settings that my laptop screen is set at 144hz.

I wasn't clear. Did it start happening after a recent driver update? In the Nvidia control panel is the frame limiter set for some reason?

I'd start with a clean re-installation of the drivers.

Use DDU to remove the old ones and re-install the latest. https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

Was just a troubleshooting question. May or may not have been related.
