3200mhz ram not working with asus rog strix z590-a

I recently completed my very first computer build. Every seemed to be working great, but when I attempted to set my corsair 16gb, vengeance rgb pro sl ram to 3200mhz, the computer won't boot and I am forced to reset the CMOS other times it lets me restart the pc.. I have tried adding more voltage and tried both xmp 1 and 2. Nothing seems to be working. I was able to get a boot at 2933mhz, but I dont want the rest of the ram I paid for go to waste. Occasionally I get the windows screen, but it is tinted blue and I can't do anything and am forced to restart the pc. What can I do? And should I swap the ram for just corsair vengeance rgb pro instead of the sl version?

First of all is 3200mhz the rated speed for that kit of ram? If it isn't then that means you are overclocking it above it's rated speed and it may not be supported any higher than what you can get stable. If so have you checked to see if the bios is up to date? Sometimes XMP can have issues and when it get's fixed the motherboard bios needs to be updated to implement that fix. I would try that first. So update the bios to the newest version and then try enabling XMP again.

Yes the kit is a 3200mhz kit as far as the bios i can try that,  I was just afraid of trying to do that. Since this is my first build I was unsure of how to do so, but I believe I just download the newest one on a flash drive l.
