Cooler for h510

Go to solution Solved by bmx6454,

do you want air? or liquid? as far as air coolers, just about any air cooler will fit in the h510, you would be limited by your ram height, if anything. for aio's, the front will accommodate almost any 240mm. 280mm rads you definitely want to double check first, some won't fit

@bmx6454 will the arctic freeze liquid 240mm fit?

technically no, but iirc, it will fit just fine if the fans are mounted in the front with the bracket in between the rad and the fans. the artic liquid freezer 240 rgb version says it will fit without issue, not 100% sure though as i haven't tried.

I have NZXT Z63 and it fits like a glove so I don't think you'll have any problems with the Arctic Freeze. The only worring part IMO is that the 8mm difference in the width of the radiator, but you should still have enough space for even a tripple fan GPU. Mine has about 3-4 cm of space left with 30cm GPU and having the radiator with fans on the inner side of the bracket.

problem is, the radiator's aren't the exact same size(as mentioned), but it still should fit without much issue

The Arctic one is much smaller, only the width is bigger by around 6mm, so there really should not be any issues. ❤️

The AIO's to buy if you care about performance are those from Arctic and EK. As a 5800x owner, I highly suggest a 280 or 360mm AIO if you want to truly get the most out of that very hot chip.

Do you already own that case? They are notorious for looking nice (subjective) but that blank front panel isn't the best for clean and direct fresh intake air. There are many alternatives that would be better suited.

I already have it and its not enough space for a 280mm 😕 do you have any recommodations under 100 dollars

Arctics 240mm. The 5800x isn’t going to like that hotbox case with only a 240mm AIO. It’ll work fine but you won’t be able to take advantage of the full boost clocks or PBO very well.

It’s not a budget chip so you need to compliment it with non budget parts.
