I am trying to port forward on my Shaw router and I have given myself a static IP and set up the port forwarding rule but when I check https://canyouseeme.org/ I get a Connection timed out error. I have searched everywhere for a solution but have been unable to find any solution. I have also contacted my ISP and they said they allow port forwarding. I have tried multiple ports as well but none of them work. Can anyone help me with this?

What service are you trying to setup? Have you tried using it as a test? Online port testers can report as closed if the server service doesn't provide a response.

I am trying to set up a Minecraft Server. I can connect to it locally so the server is working it is just the port forwarding itself will not work.

Have you successfully Port Forwarded on this network/router in the past or is this your first time trying?

Sharing screenshots of your settings would be helpful for us to confirm it is setup correctly, or point out what may be wrong.
