Corsair 7000D Motherboard Panel AIO mounting

Has anyone with this case tried mounting an AIO to the radiator spot on the motherboard panel? Does it even make sense to do so? I wanted to mount the Artic Freezer 360 AIO to that panel but I'm starting to think it wouldn't make alot of sense to do so for that particular spot. Is that spot primarily good for radiators in loop builds and me wanting to put an AIO in that spot is just silly?
