What can i do with a phone VR headset?

I got this phone VR headset for 2 bucks at a thrift store and was wondering what I could do with it

I have tried using tools like iVRy and vridge to get it to wok with steam vr with limited success (vridge only gives you 10 minutes and I couldn't get my xbox controller to work with iVRy, couldn't get steam vr to work with trinus)

I also tried the google cardboard demo.
