Corsair 7000D AIRFLOW ATX Full Tower Case has a front panel USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A port, but the Gigabyte Z690 GAMING X DDR4 ATX LGA1700 Motherboard does not have sufficient USB 3.2 Gen 1 headers. The case USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A port will not be usable. What does that mean?? Please i need help.

It means you won't be able to use the Type C port on the case.

 

Dunno why pcpp would say type A, thats just a goof.

You should not be paying that much for windows. Correct if if I'm wrong but doesn't 12th (alder lake) intel benefit from be using windows 11, right? I can tell you a website for an OEM or retail windows 11 key (where I got mine for $3) genuine of course. I've used the same windows 10 key from there on 5 different systems. No issue.

Yeah i would like to know because that windows is expensive.

Pcpp is not always 100% accurate. If you check the websites for your case and mobo you will see that they both have USB type C headers.

 

In fact the generations don't matter on the case since it's just an extension cable going to a plug. The Mobo has USB 3.2 gen 2 for the front panel connector.

Right never paid full price for windows ever since I've been gaming a working on PC since 2011 Christmas eve.

That's the one I bought and am using currently. So for you're 12th gen intel recommend 11 anyways.

I belive that windows 10 pro is better than windows 11 pro for gaming tho

Not on your 12th gen intel. You have two different cores now P(performance) and E(efficiency) cores. Windows 11 works fine and I see no difference even though I'm on a ryzen which doesn't benefit but doesn't hurt it either with the latest update as far as I can tell.

 

Look up a video about 12th gen intel or your specif CPU they'll explain it better than I can.
