So I want to set up some NAS drives to go in my computer I use for gaming, but it is pretty old and not powerful. Will putting the drives in affect my performance in a significant way or will it be fine?

Why do you want nas drives? Id just get normal desktop drives. But NAS drives work just like desktop drives, nothing special.

 

Are you buying new drives?
