i recently brought a shinobi xl and put my 2 sickleflow fans in along with the two bitenix spectre fans

note

the black arrows are the spectre

red arrow are sickleflow

grey are sp120 like the stock fans from h80 - h110 series

All you need is more intakes compared to outtakes. You aren't going to get tangible performance or temperature gains that mean anything trying to analyze the fan config (2 on top, 1 on bottom, up or down, in/out).  If you aren't using a small form factor case where everything is jammed into it you are fine with literally any fan configuration as long as you are not opposing flow (even then, I'm willing to bet in a case like this it wouldn't matter).

Depending on how much your graphics card is going to impact your air temperature inside the case, you can probably achieve up to 5°C cooler temps on your CPU by making the rear fan an intake. Maybe put a dust filter on it as the mesh on rear mounts is ususally quite open.
