Will Windows 10 Home remove the license if the time is off?

sorasmemories

I have no idea why, but a few months ago, the time on my PC suddenly was off by 6 minutes or so. It errors when attempting to time sync and won't let me change the time zone.

I didn't care until I found out that Windows licenses can fail a check with the activation server if the time is off, and remove the license.

I have a prebuilt PC that's over 4 years old. I highly doubt the company would give me a license if I called them, and I doubt I even have the serial number. So, now I'm worried about losing my Windows license.

Has anyone had this happen before?

Surely you can set the time manually in the control panel?

Computer clocks are notoriously inaccurate. They can drift by quite a huge amount in just a few weeks if it is not being synched.
