Fan controller

I need fan controller for 5x gentle typhoon ap-15 + 3x corsair fans which come with 750d.

 

I am planning to turn the fans down until I can barely hear them and leave them there and probably going to have 3x corsair fans in one header with splitter + 3x gentle typhoon in one header with splitter + 2x gentle typhoon in one header with splitter.

 

 

So what fan controller would you suggest? Preferably under 25$

Not everyone has a motherboard with enough fan headers.

I've got two of the Scythe controllers and I've found them to fail pretty quickly. Not completely, just some of the channels but I've found they've tended to fail. I don't know if that's because I've been drawing too much power through them (e.g. Sanyo Denki San Aces) but they have failed.

 

My current one was working up until last night when I plugged eight 140mm Vipers into it and one of the dials stopped working. The LED failed and with it dialled all the way to the top it'll spin its fan very slowly as long as I help it to start...disappointing, especially since I had to pay shipping costs for postage from Germany :0/

 

Apart from that I like the dial types as opposed to the digital types but there's no denying the ability to program fan profiles is pretty cool.
