Windows 10 Explorer Keeps restarting

Wohao_Gaster

So I was just making a game in RPG Maker MZ and challenging myself to use as little Non-RTP resources as possible, but I realized that my taskbar kept disappearing into my accent color

My first guess was that explorer was restarting so I de-maximized the window and  Yep, my desktop was gone

I assume that it's crashing but... why? and why does it always deselect my chrome window it's really annoying I can't type like this

Well sounds like something is wrong. Lets try some things.

First, I don't know whether or not you've updated your display drivers or Windows so I'm assuming you have (if you haven't try that but probably wont help anyway).

Now, still crashing? You can try to DDU your graphics driver (in safe mode) before you head back into normal desktop and install the latest driver.

If you still have issue then lets try some more things.

Open cmd as admin (search start menu for cmd and choose run as administator).

Run first command to check your OS drive and reboot the PC to start the scan.

chkdsk c: /r /f

When back into Windows open cmd as before and this time run

sfc /scannow

If it fixed something reboot the PC before you proceed.

Open cmd again like earlier and now run these commands.

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /ScanHealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth

Restart the PC again and see if any of this helped.

it has stopped now, but I did nothing, all that happened was that the battery ran out while in the charger, then having to wait a day, now it's fixed!
