I have problems with my GPU. Won't boot. Please help.

Hello. I have the exact same problem as this guy

I know it is an old topic, but this exact problem has been giving me a hard time for the past 4 days.

I tried everything that I know, but nothing seems to be working. Or is my GPU dead?

Do you have the exact same parts as that OP? What parts are in your computer?

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

My initial ideas are;

  • plug hdmi/dp into the motherboard and use integrated graphics to reinstall drivers
  • remove and reseat the GPU and cables
  • Try a different PCIe slot

if these don't work I presume something in your pc is dead

I have tried to see if my GPU will be recognized in a different setup. Unfortunately, it did not work. I tried different PCle slot and it is not working. I have another GPU (ATI Radeon 4600) in my PC where GTX is. I have deinstalled device (GTX) and then I re-installed the drivers on it, but without 2x6 pins
