PLEASE HELP motherboard thermal plate on the back clashes with my AIO bracket

NoobRegular

So I bought a new motherboard for my ITX build and when I tried putting my aio bracket on the back of the motherboard, it clashes with a thermal plate thing on the back. I need to know if it’s safe to remove this plate on the back or if there’s any other solution? Thanks!

If it was me, I would cut off the arms on the AIO back plate that are hitting the VRM heatsink backplate thing. A dremel would be what I would use, or if you don’t have that, a hand saw with a metal cutting blade would work fine. If you can afford a nice mobo and such, you can probably afford a 15 dollar saw to make it work 🙂

This would be a better idea then removing the VRM heatsink since we know for sure the AIO extra arms are not needed for your CPU socket, but the VRM backplate may be needed.
