Eye strain from only one monitor and dead pixel moved

Pixelfie

So I have 2 questions.

First one is my AOC C24G2U/BK has been giving me eye strain issues. It seems to only get worse and I already have brightness at 0 and tried f.lux. This does not happen with other screens (phone, 3 different laptops, different monitors). Is there any way I can fix it?

Second question, my laptop has a dead pixel since the day I got it, but first it was in the middle, now it's in the bottom right, is it normal for a dead pixel to move? I'm pretty sure it's a dead pixel and not something behind the display.

A) try turning on a blue light filter in Windows and see if it improves. Science behind it is murky at best with some saying bluelight is the cause, and some say it has no effect. You could also try getting some glasses that filter blue light as well.

B) No, dead pixels should not move like that. This tells me that it's likely not a dead pixel, but likely some dirt or dust trapped trapped in the display if it moved so drastically.

The blue light filter from Windows improved it a little bit but not much. Could try the blue light glasses but I don't know if that's any different than using software, and it may make my headphones uncomfortable.

That's what I thought too but I zoomed in with my phone and it actually looks like a dead pixel. The red circle is where it used to be (or at least close), blue is where it is now. In the other picture is what it looks like (zoomed in as much as possible)

Could be just a stuck pixel honestly? There are methods to try and work a stuck pixel out.

As for the glasses, I wear glasses full time and have no issues with headphones causing discomfort because. Most manufactures take this into account when creating the ear cup and the materials used to minimize this.
