Hey all, just upgraded my cpu and motherboard (i7 12700k + tuf gaming z690-plus wifi d4) and everything works except internet? Everything else in my house can connect to the internet but the pc. I have tried ethernet and wireless but nothing pops up at all. I try to troubleshoot but it says "windows could not find a driver for your network adapter" but it gives me no solution. Just that alert. Ive tried all sorts of youtube videos and articles but i simply cant get a network to show up. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks a ton for reading. Look forward to hearing your input!

Download + install any of the missing drivers from the ASUS TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI D4 webpage then....

That's what you're supposed to do anyways -- Windows can't always auto-detect and install drivers.

If it can, it might not be the latest ones.

Workaround - My Phone preloads/installs a network driver for USB Tethering,..and Wifi enabled.
THEN I go visit the specific Mobo-Downloads Page and grab what I need for local networks/wifi network devices I have.

Usually Windows 10 does a great job for Network devices.. but not always.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
