I had been playing BF2042 in Windows 11 on my 9820x with a 3080 GPU. Yesterday I swapped it out for a 5900x with an Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360. When I load up BF2042 it is like a slideshow. Even the intro screens are jerky and don't play smoothly. Something is seriously wrong. CPU and GPU temps look good. Any ideas??

Is it only battlefield 2042 or is it all games? Try playing some other games. There's apparently a lot of issues with Battlefield 2042 at the moment.

Turned out to be a problem with the AIO mounting bracket. One of the studs that the thumbscrews thread was missing and thought the three would be enough, but I swapped it out for a Corsair AIO and everything works flawlessly. I am getting max CPU temps of 68C when gaming.
