Thanks for your attention.
I know it's a stupid thing to ask, but it would really help to get some expert advise.

I busted my laptop video IC while trying to play Genshin Impact on high settings on DX12.
Now my laptop doesn't run the intel graphics drivers and when I try to run them I get the BSD(Blue screen of death) saying

"video tdr failure igdkmd64.sys"
Now I went to the shop and they said they can fix it but there is risk of completely destroying my laptop.
The laptop now can't even run 64-bit Windows 7. The refresh rate is capped at 24Hz.
Should I risk it?
What are the chances of my returning safely?
My config:
i7-3612QM @2.10 GHz
Intel HD4000
(Full specs at my profile in the laptop section)
Again,thanks for your attention.

How? Games alone won't kill any chips unless it was running without any cooling for an extended period of time. This to me sounds like either something in the VRMs gone bad or your CPU (as you got a igpu) is going to get replaced. Either way, if the repair cost is something you are willing to risk, go for it, otherwise keep your money. I personally wouldn't waste a dime on it and consider getting a new laptop at this point.

Iirc these are socketed cpus so go buy a 3610qm or 3630qm and just slot it in

Although as @Levent said, games dont just cause your gpu to outright die although there are some exceptions (looking at you new world), if a new cpu doesnt help then prob your laptop board is shot

Well, I took it to the shop again for an another diagnosis, they said that my IGPU is fine, what's not fine is the Video power IC, that's why it's running on  standard vga graphics instead of Intel HD4000, they are asking like 3500 tk, which is almost 41$.

Seems reasonable tbh, all you are gonna find ~200$ are some ewaste craptops with dual core celerons that get beaten by even a 13 year old c2d desktop

I think you need ~300-400$ to even match your laptop spec so 41$ for a repair seems reasonable
