Looking for a good double monitor mount that can be flexible with two 27" monitors

I bought a basic double monitor mount, but my desk is somewhat big and my monitors are not very flexible as to their location. I feel like they are too far away.

Both of my screens are 27" so if I try to bring them closer, they just reach a point where one would overlap the other.

 

With that being said, I would love for a recommendation for a double monitor desk mount that can fit both of my screens with more room for adjusting how close it is. Maybe a mount that can fit larger screens?

Either a mount for larger screens, or a desk-stand mount instead of a clamp on.  Telescoping arms (or ones with springs/counterbalance) can only do so much--especially if you have a very deep space.  But you can try something like this:

Not sure what you've got back there but I just bought one of these again from Bontec.

It provides great versatility but I'm not really able to do much other than what you have as the arms aren't made for that as 27inches is the biggest size it supports. 

 

They also provide single arms which you might want to look into.

Maybe something like this.  Or go with a 3 display setup, and only use the end displays, so you can move them closer together.
