Can I use a pcie gen 4 in a gen 3 slot?

Hi, Im looking into buying a rx 6600xt but  I only have gen 3 slots, Can I use the gen 4 card in my gen 3 slot?

Yeah it should work fine if your board doesnt have any specific bios updates that address compatibility fixes.

Normally YES cuz the drive then would run in the Supported Gen the Motherboard has, but still might be depending on what emosun sayed couple reps ago
