Buying new monitor

Hey guys,

 

I ve got lot of help here so once again in need of some recommendations regarding new monitor , about 280€ / 300 bucks ,

Thinking about 27 inch 1080p/2K 144hz and 1ms if you have something on mind lmk.

Heard good about samsung oddysey g5 , but some say that colors aint good.

If you're firm on getting 27 inch I recommend sticking to 1440p resolution as 1080p's PPI may be too low for people and seeing pixelated, blurrier images.

 

I recommend Gigabyte M27Q, it is an affordable 27 inch 1440p monitor.

 

As for Samsung G5 because it is a VA panel expect slower pixel transition, dark level smearing and worse colour but if you really want it for contrast ratio, say watching movies, then sure. Otherwise IPS is superior for gaming. 

 

And btw, "1ms" is marketing bs. Unless it's an OLED no monitors can deliver 1ms.
