RX 580 for £260(approx $350 USD) - worth it?

I am looking for a new GPU. I have found a RX 580 8gb for roughly $350 US. I wondered whether this is a good price and also whether the card is the right one for me?

 

I want to play Rainbow six, battlefront 2, F1 2021.

 

My current spec is a Ryzen 5 3600 with an R9290 GPU

It's not a complete awful price, but (at least for US pricing, it's probably different for the UK) it's not a good price, it's about average. Also, a 580 isn't that much faster than a 290, so unless you really need a newer card (either for features like DX12 or power efficiency), either stick with your 290 for a bit longer or try to shoot for a better GPU like a 980 Ti or 1070.
