how close can i stack SSDs without issues?

I have 3 1TB SSD that i want to run in raid1. because of convenient reasons, and because of lack of space in my case; i stacked the 3 SSD super close together so that i can fit them in a single 3.5in bay (see attached picture). do you guys thing that this will be an issue? or will it be fine. the only issue i can think of is the middle one might overheat.

Yeah its fine, sata ssds barely run hot enough for it to be problem. I have a 840 and a 850 evo taped together for last 3 years.

That really won't be a problem, even the slightest amount of airflow will keep it cool. My 840 EVO sits behind my mobo tray with absolutely no airflow and doesn't even hit 50.

They'll be fine. If you're really worried about the temps you can just point a fan towards the stack of drives, but there shouldn't be any issues.
