Rx6800 stutters while playing. GPU clock, load, voltage and power draw all goes to 0 every 10 seconds

Hey good people.

 

I just got a error with my couple months old RX6800

Really annoying, cant really play anything anymore.

 

GPU clock drops every 10 seconds as do everything else, i will add snapshots of GPU-Z

memory clock, gpu load, memory controller load, gpu power draw and gpu voltage all does the same

 

You can clearly see that everything drops at the same time.

 

I have tried everything.    Removed gpu drivers with ddu, clean install of both w10 and w11.

Updated the bios, adjusted every kind of setting in the adrenalin software.

 

CPU : Ryzen 7 5800X
Ram: HyperX Fury DDR4 3200MHz 16gb

PSU: XFX Proseries XXX Edition 850w 

GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX 6800 Nitro+

 

Using a 3440x1440 144hz screen.

 

Fault came suddently, nothing that i know of could be the issue.

 

 Do you guys have any tips for me to try?

I am so close to just return the gpu under warranty.

 

Ive attached the GPU-z log file.

Edit#1 :Just tried to reseat the gpu and powercables and no difference

Btw its a good idea to set gpuz to show max, it helps to see whats going on in relation to the graphs, your minimums (i assume) don't really tell anything.

In gpuz options there's a setting "show max" (or similar not at my pc right how)

Fuck me sideways..

I disabled ubisoft overlay on fc6

And now it works like a charm...

Haha, yeah sometimes its just small things (that often don't even make sense) and it can be hard to figure out. Glad you found the culprit though.

Tbh, then don't support them. If you try to see it objectively they really don't make any good games, they just put a lot of effort/$ into advertisements,  similar to ea... i guess that's how you get big, but to me as a consumer there's nothing in it, so I just neither play or support these games.
