Sub 1000 budget usually calls for amd as its cheaper so ditch the i3 and choose a better amd imo

In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only a GTX 1080, just a single 1080, where my glorious PC once stood....

For that is all I need, For the Emperor of Man, Jen-Hsun Huang, protects. We march for Nvidia, and we shall know no fear!

@Lanoi, he stole your profile picture!

@OP, i3's aren't worth it IMO, get an FX-6300 (or maybe a FX-6200)

Get dual channel memory as well.

Same girl, different picture. going to change the memory .

Giving her an i3 3220

Im giving her a i3 3220 for 75$.

Well stating that would be helpfull as it opens up the budget a bit more.

I like the sound of the 760. But I think its a better idea if she went with intel. Im giving her my CPU (3220)

Im going to be removing the CPU off the list...
