Any help with my k70 rapidfire?

Been quite a while since I posted on here, but I got an odd problem I need some help figuring out. 

 

Just recently, specific keys have been showing up as different colors with red in general not working at all in some cases. Other keys have also been showing as dimmed and flickering. When I go into iCUE to try and test things, I find that when I change colors, sometimes the keys work perfectly fine again (green for example). The colors look as if they are dead, but then all of a sudden the whole keyboard goes back to normal with the colors I thought were broken back to life - such as red completely working on the whole keyboard again.

 

You guys think this is a software / firmware bug or is my poor k70 on its death bed?
