I was doing updates on my pc and i got a very suspicious error code. It was just saying 666 as the error code. I'm very confused on why is it that specific number. After i saw the error code i just came here to ask about it.

That's often a good command to run because it replaces any files which fail Microsoft's integrity check. I think the Xircal person made a typo.

DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

That said, this appears to be a .NET 4.5 issue rather than one strictly caused by the Windows Update process. This in my experience is a pain to fix because Microsoft doesn't make repairing the 4.5 framework simple or straightforward. Notably, DISM doesn't reliably repair .NET problems, regardless of version (2.0, 3.0, etc). Hence, I suggest running the following tool to verify and repair .NET updates independent of Windows Update:

If the problem persists, you can use the same tool to repair the entire Windows Update catalog, though I believe that will be unnecessary. I have used this technique to repair a damaged update catalog many times. Microsoft's update catalog is otherwise pretty darn inscrutable, so I've not run across any other software which can fix it, not even from Microsoft themselves.
