Newbie here, just started learning about PC building, and I wanted to see if I got it right, and if you have recommendations regarding my current list.

1. Budget and Location

Working on a Php 60,000 - 75,000 budget (roughly USD 1,500), although of course the lower the better. I'm shopping for parts here in the Philippines.

2. Aim

PC is mostly going to be used for gaming (AAA titles and multiplayers), but I also do light video editing. I would also like to record and stream gameplay from my Switch, but that's not really a priority.

3. Monitors

I aim to use dual displays. I already have a 1080p 144hz monitor, and I will get another one in the future.

4. Peripherals

I already have a good enough mouse and keyboard. I might need a Windows 10 OS, but I didn't include it in my budget yet.

5. Why upgrade?

I don't have a gaming rig. I have an Acer Nitro 5 (Ryzen 5, GTX 1650) that has served me well for a while now, but I always feel like I could do better. And upgrade paths for laptops are almost nonexistent. I upgraded RAM to 16GB already, but that's it.

Here's what my list looks like so far:

CPU - Intel Core i5-11400F 12M Cache, 2.60-4.4GHz 6-Core 12-Thread Processor (Php 9,200 / USD 182)

Cooler - Stock cooler (open to suggestions that could fit my budget)
Motherboard - Gigabyte B560M DS3H V2 (LGA1200) Motherboard (Php 5,450 / USD 108)
Memory - Gskill Ripjaws V 16GB Dual DDR4 3600MHz CL18 F4-3600C18D-16GVK (Php 4,560 / USD 90)
Storage - Kingston A400 M.2 480GB Internal SSD + Western Digital WD Blue 2TB 64MB Hard Drive (Php 6,220 / USD 123)
Graphics Card - MSI RTX 3060 VENTUS 2X 12G OC (912-V397-050) (Php 36,500 / USD 723)
Case - Tecware Nexus M Black-White TG Case 3x120mm USB3 (Php 1,750 / USD 35)
Power Supply - Seasonic Focus GM-650 GOLD 650watts 80+ Semi Modular PSU SSR-650FM (Php 4,950 / USD 98)

Current Total: Php 69,480 / USD 1,376

All prices are from https://dynaquestpc.com/ because this is the shop I'll most likely buy from since it's near my house, parts seem more expensive in other stores, and it seems like it has all of it. You might want to use it as a reference for the parts prices.

Would appreciate any feedback I can get.

The 11400f is cheap, but you're buying a locked cpu with a shit stock cooler on a crappy motherboard with few features (dvi as video output for onboard video, probably ancient alc892 audio (they don't even list the audio chip on site) barebones usb connectors on io shield. Is it worth the difference between ryzen? Debatable...

12500 ryzen 3600x https://dynaquestpc.com/collections/processor-1/products/amd-ryzen-5-3600x-6-core-12-thread-3-8-4-4-ghz-35mb-95w

(see notes below)

5950 wd blue 1 TB ssd https://dynaquestpc.com/collections/hard-drive-ssd/products/western-digital-wd-blue-1tb-3d-nand-wds100t2b0a

= 33140 for the above, or ~650

Add case and video card. Later add a big 4-8 TB mechanical drive. Can be cheaper if going with cheaper motherboard.

Notes:

With 3600x you could go as cheap as a A320 chipset motherboard, but you wouldn't be able to overclock much and decent motherboards with heatsinks on vrm are around the same price as b450 motherboards that would have some heatsinks and allow some overlocking.

For example there's that Asus board for iCafes at 2880 that would work : https://dynaquestpc.com/collections/motherboard-socket-am4/products/asus-ex-a320m-gaming

You can get support for up to Ryzen 5xxx with a A520 chipset motherboard that's a bit more expensive, for example the 4180 board here : https://dynaquestpc.com/collections/motherboard-socket-am4/products/asus-tuf-gaming-a520m-plus-am4-motherboard

But, i wouldn't use such cheap board with more than a 8 core cpu.

The cheapest B550 starts at 5200 but it's kinda poor for upgrade as in the vrm heatsink and the vrm isn't that great, so again perfectly fine for a 3600x but wouldn't use it for more than a  8 core cpu in the future https://dynaquestpc.com/collections/motherboard-socket-am4/products/gigabyte-b550m-ds3h-am4
