LG Oled C1 flashing/extreme brightness changes when using with pc?

Go to solution Solved by SolarNova,

Cant say I recognize that as any C1 issues i've seen before.

As above its likely a OS issue with HDR.

So I set up a new c1 oled today (I'm using as a monitor as I have decent cover coverage on the unit).

I've noticed though that when I'm using it with windows (11) sometimes the screen will flash when I'm typing or suddenly darken if I hover over a link in chrome. I've had a dig around the settings on the tv but I'm not sure what's causing this. Anyone familiar with the this tv that has come across this or now how to stop it?

Thanks in advance!

PS. I linked a quick video showing the flashes when I'm typing:

I have an older LG OLED, not seen anything like that before. There is a dimming feature to prevent burn in, but it doesn't activate that quickly.

Have you tried other sources to see if that happens? If you have a spare cable try that, as I do find it does need a high quality cable.

Well I just disabled and re-enabled hdr in w11 and it seems to have stopped for now so I think it's windows being weird again.
