Do you need a commander pro to make a corsair h150i 360mm aio work?

I bought a corsair h150i 360mm aio off ebay and it was pulled from a build. It does not come with a commander pro so i was wondering if it will work without one. I have a normal iCUE Lighting Node Core if that will work. Heres the link to the aio-

No, on the H150i all the fans connect to the pump, according to the manual.

Youtube, everything exists there. The aforementioned quickstart guide is also required reading. 

 

Also, the Ebay link doesn't include fans, keep that in mind.

yes i already have the fans. i just wanted to upgrade my air cooler to an aio

Hello i just installed the aio and i cant figure out how to connect it to icue without the commander core. Any ideas?

You followed every step in the quick start guide, correct? Every single step?

 

Is the below USB cable connected from the pump to USB2 header on the motherboard?

ahhh thats what i forgot. also one of the fans that i was already using, the rgb stoped working. Ideas?
