Major FPS drop when flicking mouse

I’m getting major FPS drops whenever I flick my mouse to do a fast flick/180 to turn around. In CSGO, it’s dropping from 300 (capped at 300) to 15-20 and in Valorant I’m having the same issue. Nvidia drivers are current, just did a clean install of them when I noticed the issue. Other than GPU drivers, I’m at a loss for what could be causing it. Granted,  my components are a bit older, but I did not have this issue last week.

 

specs:

i7 7700k

asrock pro4

gtx 1070

16 gb 2400 ram

 

please help so I’m not having this issue during my ESEA league match tonight lol thanks in advance

Try to reduce mouse polling rate.

Wow that was it. Viper 8khz not ideal I guess.
