Is there a manufacturer for HDMI switches that is generally regarded as the best?

emjaybee_3

I've had pretty bad luck with my last two HDMI switch purchases; my 3 in x 1 out switch had a dead input and my newer 5 in x 1 out switch has trouble with auto switch, the remote control has two input buttons that don't work, and it doesn't support HCDP 2.2 for blu-ray even though it is listed in the product specs. The more expensive 6x1 I was looking at only supports HDMI 1.4

Is there a brand for these types of devices that is well regarded? Thanks in advance!

You can always just get an AVR and call it good.

I've given up on buying adapters/switches and hoping I can find the power bricks when I need to use one.

At the point I've gotten to with a handful of adapters and a few HDMI switches (that are all now broken or hard to find power bricks), I could have just bought an AVR in the first place.

So, I'm basically just waiting for Blackfriday sales to go buy a Denon receiver that meets all of my needs.
