Redo Liquid Metal on ASUS G513QY --- Can I use Liquid Etape instead TG Shield?

Hello All,

I had to remove ASUS stock LM as it cam spilled off around the core, I also removed ASUS stock LM barriers, as those moved a bit while cleaning.

For now I applied on the CPU/GPU Gelid GC Extreme, but sadly, GPU isn't very happy with it, and LM seems to be better for it.

So I am planning redo LM.

 

Question though, since I removed ASUS barriers from CPU/GPU,  can I use Liquid Etape instead TG Shield? 

 

TG Shield:

Liquid Etape:
Amazon.com: STAR BRITE Liquid Electrical Tape with Applicator Brush Cap Black4 OZ. (084104B) : Everything Else

 

I bought the Liquid Etape on Amazon and it should arrive to me (I live outside US) in about 1.5 weeks, if you tell me that it wont work as TG Shield, I will buy TG Shield.
