if you dont have it, get this http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38649/? it helps a tone if you are running a bunch of high res textures. if that does not work try a clean skyrim install

also, if you dont have the unofficial skyrim patches, those too can help a ton.

What you can do to make life easier, it'll be more lengthy, but you can identify the problem easier. Is take a clean fresh copy of skyrim, and test it, then add one mod each time, and test it. That will isolate the issue.

i cleaned installed the other day and worked out what was making it unstable. and nothings clashing in the files so im thinking its something to do with the enb or my 680

Well, did you crash when it was completely clean?

If not then it could be your 680 can't handle the mods, is it's temp reaching upper levels?

i cleaned installed disabling all steam mods nexus mods and enb files and ran around with a clean file for a while easy

temps are hanging around 40-50s

so it didn't crash at all while it was clean?

does the temp rise a lot when mods are in?

is the cpu under too much load itself?

Did you configure skyrimprefs correctly when installing the enb? if not that can screw up all kinds of things. make sure bFloatPointRenderTarget is set to 1. Also do you have any kind of view distance mods?

1. didnt crash while was clean

2. temps say around the 40s no matter what

3. checking now

Try going to stock clocks.

The same things happened to me in Star Citizen until I turn down my clockspeed.

im running at stock and have a few issues but it seems to be slowing down

enb was installed correctly following makers instructions and guides i have increased the cell load distance and the grass and tree load but its not crazy high to case crashes ill run around and see cpu usage and see if decreasing distance load will help

Then there's something wrong with the mod setup your using, once you've figured out the CPU let me know ill suggest other things based on its results

ok so this isnt 100% for sure but each cores sitting around 50% however i decreased the view distance loading in im having less crashes

@TheNinjaNextDor @Luclocke @bob345

upon further inspections and multiple runs between river wood and whiterun (though it would be a good stress test because of how open it is) i found that adjusting the modification i made to the viewing distance and loading of trees and such i wasnt having as many crashes yay!

link to the guide i followed that changed the loading for reference

Alright makes sense, glad you fixed it (sort of "not as many crashes" [i'd aim for zero]) but as long as it doesn't bother you its what matters.
