PCIe x1 slot on Asus ROG MAXIMUS XIII HERO

Asus ROG MAXIMUS XIII HERO

Intel 11900k

Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060
1x Samsung 980 pro 2T
2x Samsung 860 evo SSD 2T
1x Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060
1x UAD-2 PCIex1
Use : Music production and Gaming.

Hi all , I will building new PC and I have question about the MB and PCIE.
in the manual they explain everything about PCIex16 slots configuration and how they share the bandwidth with each other and  SATA and M.2.... BUT there's  nothing about the PCIe X1 slot !! no explanation about its configuration or sharing with other slots or SATA or M.2.. ,
after reading the manual I found this arrangement may be the best :
Samsung 980 pro 2T on M.2 slot 1
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060  on PCCIE 16-1
2xSamsung 860 Evo SSD 2T on SATA 1-2
NOW:  should I put UAD-2 PCIe x1 on PCIe x1 or PCIE16-3 x2? because I don't want to affect performance of other slots or SATAs or M.2.. and as I mentioned there's nothing in the manual about PCIe x1 slot
so:
do you have idea about PCIe x1 slot on this MB?
is there better way to arrange my parts on this MB?

Thanks

If there's no note about restrictions mentioned for a slot, well there are no restrictions on using it.

Do you already own that cpu and board ? If not then I would suggest having a rethink, as there are better alternatives.

I would go with the i7 11700 and a B560 board if you want Intel 11th gen. The 11900K is just not a good cpu.

Here is an example:

If you need wifi then there is the B560 Tomahawk.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: Intel Core i7-11700 2.5 GHz 8-Core Processor  ($339.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI MAG B560 TORPEDO ATX LGA1200 Motherboard  ($159.99 @ Adorama)
Total: $499.98
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

The PCIeX1 slot uses Z590 chipset lanes. The PCIeX16_3 slot uses cpu lanes. If you use the PCIe X16_3 slot is will reduce available lanes in the other x16 slots, possibly affecting performance. However, it should offer marginally better performance for the card.
