6800 XT texture popping

Hello all,

I honestly don't know if I'm just seeing a problem here that isn't one. I switched from an RTX 2070 to an RX 6800 XT. Somehow since then I feel like textures are loading too slowly (especially something in the distance). I've noticed this with many games, such as Witcher, New World, GTA V, etc.

I can rule out SSD. Using Witcher as an example, I also put it on an NVME once but same problem.

Now my question is, if I'm imagining this or if someone knows this. Strange is that I somehow notice this only since the 6800 XT. Unfortunately, I no longer have the RTX 2070 and can therefore not test it.

I experience it in all games...

EDIT: Timespy score is 17610 (https://www.3dmark.com/spy/23231037). And the performance is just fine. Its just these texture issue.

What I already did:

1) New Windows and DDU

2) Used different drivers

Use lower settings you shouldnt be running the game at their highest settings anyway. HardwareUnboxed just did a video about why not to run games like that.

Sorry but how does this help in this case? It does not matter if high or ultra settings. You even would expect that on ultra the textures should load better.

So a texture that is a larger file size is suppose to load faster than a texture that is a smaller file size?

#logic!
