Honestly, you don't really need to upgrade much about your system. If you want to upgrade anything, you can get an 8th or 9th gen i7, but prices for them on the used market usually don't make sense. Plus, getting anything better than a 1070 for cheap is next to impossible right now.

Probably i can not upgrade on 20 or 30 series gpus with current motherboard? Not sure what best cpu i can add to my mobo.

If you have a PCIe slot, you can run a 20 or 30 series GPU. Don't worry about that, since you already have the board you might as well keep it.

yes want to see how will bf2042 play with this setup and then i decide. Just want to know what are my options. Probably i can not upgrade on 20 or 30 series gpus with current motherboard? Not sure what best cpu i can add to my mobo.

Options are not very wide with your current mobo. Yes, you can put in a 8700K, 9700 or 9900K but the VRM on the MB don't like that.

Knowing that the current BF game is huge cpu demanding in multiplayer mode I expect BF 2042 is too.

Looks decent enough to me, though consider upgrading that psu to a 750w or 850w for futureproofing

Thats what i was thinking with current mobo. Im curious how much cpu usage will be in bf2042. In bf5 its between 60-80%.
