Hello everybody,

I am thinking about putting an SSD in my new laptop in the near future, and put one HDD in the other slot, and use my other HDD as external, that said, I don't need storage on the SSD, i only want to run my OS on it, I am Running win 7 64 bit,

and i thought maybe you knew some options? all i want is the RAW speed, that's all i want from that SSD, so storage doesn't have to be high at all, i'm just going to run windows on it,

i want to know what are some good options, and i am not rich so i was thinking about not too expensive i was hoping under 100 Euro's if that's possible, but i don't have any idea what to look at with SSD's

any help would be very appreciated,

Cheerss

If it's for a laptop, I'd recommend the new Western Digital Black². Laptops usually only have a single drive slot. The Western Digital Black² would allow you to accomodate a 120Gb solid-state drive and a 1TB hard disk drive in the same slot.

Intel Core i7-5930K | Noctua NH-D15S | ASUS X99-M WS | 32GB (4 x 8GB) G.Skill Ripjaws V 2666MHz | MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti Gaming 6G | Samsung 850 Pro 512GB | Seasonic 660XP2 | Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV

LG 34UM95-P w/ Ergotron MX  | O2/ODAC | Audioengine A5+ w/ AS8 | Sennheiser HD 598 | Ducky Shine 3 | Cooler Master Storm Spawn

I have 2 Hard drive/SSd slots in my laptop. 1 is now filled, and have the older one out of my old laptop here. so enough storage, and 2 internal slots. want to fill one with a SSD

In that case, Samsung 840 Evo. Looking back at your preferred budget range, the Western Digital wouldn't have worked anyway.
