Defective CHA_FAN1 on B350-F, how to reroute/use other source on the board?

MultiGamerClub

Currently just having 3x140mm standard GP-14 X2 fans for front intake, but one fan header seems to be defective or isnt working / getting proper contact anymore.

Will the AIO_PUMP work fine or should i find another header on the board? As long as it does 900rpm fixed or "full speed" it doesnt matter.

Will need to replace them anyway as im not getting proper airflow anyway at the front. (Who knew 900rpm fans wasnt enough.. me.)

I also drive a volvo as one does being norwegian haha, a volvo v70 d3 from 2016.

Reliability was a key thing and its my second car, working pretty well for its 6 years age xD

Hi,

the AIO header will make your fan run, but you will have issues with fan speed control. you might be able to change that header in the bios into a "normal" fan header.

Another solution would be a PWM Y-Splitter, should be cheap to pick up 🙂
