YouTube testing video download feature for desktop

I actually use "Video DownloadHelper". Its not completely free, but it lets me download videos from nearly any website. Super useful.

 

A built in video download option in youtube is nice too, but better to get a tool that works on multiple sites.

This for me would be the only reason to get YouTube premium. I watch a lot of YouTube content and it would be a pain to download full playlists. I also wouldn't miss the ads. Unfortunately YT Premium isn't available where I live but on the other hand I don't get as many ads as in the countries where it is available.
