Corsair RGB Fans work, but only the stock ones...

I have a Corsair Crystal 570X case. This case comes with the 3 frontal fans pre-installed but has 2 too slots and 1 back slot available for further installation. I watched a review on YT about said case and it said that it only accepts SP120 iCUE pro fans, so I bought and installed them.

 

I connected their RGB cable to the stock RGB hub on the case which is also controllable by some case buttons on the top of it right next to the power button. Today that I finally completed building the PC I looked to see my new cool RGB build and I see that while the 3 fans I added do indeed light up, they are stuck at cyan while the stock 3 fans are going ham all over the rainbow.

 

Can anyone help me figure out why this is happening? And thank you to anyone who's read all this text wall!
