MacOS Big Sur keeps forgetting network passwords

Every time I reboot, and for every share (Same username and password) on my Logitech Distation.

Why won't the thing remember my login? By the time I have them all working again, it's time to reboot for an update and I have to start over.
Same story on my M1 mini and my M1 air.
Windows does this without issue. I literally only have to fill it in once after a reinstallation of Windows and I can freely roam my network shares.

A network password isn't the same thing as the password for the share you're wanting to access. You should be able to simply add the network share to your Login Items in System Preferences (within Users & Groups).

if I do that though I think it also opens the window upon login, every time. Which is not ideal with a shit ton of shares :D.
Weirdly though, I just connected it through CMD&K and the afp server, manually, after a reboot, and though it did ask for a password through smb, it didn't through 'connect to'. So it does seem to remember, but somehow not when I click it in my sidebar?
