What kind of temps are you getting with haswell?

Voltage: 1.2v

Clock: 4.2 Ghz

Temps: 75c core max.

Cooling: Custom loop (d5 + 360mm rad + ek supermacy)

Not delidded and my cpu block may not be seated properly.

I haven't found much info about haswell temps with watercooling so I wanted to ask you guys.

Yea, I don't know what kind of custom loop you have, but there is no way that block is seated correctly.

Well my temps are similiar to what I found here so that is why I had to ask you guys:

I had really bad temps on my 3770k. On the stock cooler with no OC 1 core was hitting 100 degrees. After installing 2x 240mm rads it was still over 80 degrees. I reseated over and over but nothing helped. Delidded and now temps struggle to hit. 60degrees with a 1.35v 4.6ghz OC...

I am thinking about delidding as soon as I can afford to buy new cpu if something goes wrong. =/

Yeah it's a risky move... When I spent $1200 on water cooling gear and the thing still wasn't cool though I was pissed...

Right now I'm running a 4770k @4.0Ghz with 1.2v (only because I didn't have time to burn test, I lowered it to 4.0 because it guaranteed stability) and I don't hit more than 60c with the cooling of an H100i under load. Tonight I am going to try to hit at least 4.3 with 1.2, but we'll see how it goes.

After half an hour.

EDIT: I upped the volts by .05 and this happened... wtf? (using p95 this time on max loads)

Don't use Prime95 on Haswell. I think it's the adaptive voltage that makes it go ballistic.

It's probably the crappy TIM under the CPU's heatspreader.
