Otherwise you need a compatible (to the bios level) cpu, then flash, then put in the new cpu.

If I do put another cpu and graphics card, and it sends me to the BIOS. How do I update it?

Basically download the new bios file, chuck it on a usb stick, plug the usb stick in then hop in to the bios and go for the ez flash option.  It should pick up the new bios on the usb stick.

Page 2-3 in your motherboard's manual. 

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
