Not so-much scammed, but these people put all of your money in a savings account, accumulate interest, then when you do a chargeback 30 days later they refund your money and keep the interest earned.
There'll be the odd person who forgets about the money, closes their bank account or passes on and they get to keep the money from them, all in all it's a pretty smart scheme

Any source to this? Bank saving monthly interest is kinda low, and heavily traceable.

It's the Ponzi scheme, one of the oldest schemes in existance

Lures investors and pays profits to previous investors requesting to buy out with funds from more recent investors.
Only difference is that the site isn't promising high returns so it never spirals, you get your money back and the guy gets to feel rich for a bit.

What kind of savings account offers enough interest to earn anything significant over a measly 30 days?

It's a collective interest, so if they manage to gets tens of thousands into that account rolling in/out at a time, they're earning the interest on the whole balance of the account, not just what went in/out in 30 days.

I mean yes, but the interest is like maybe a few % per year on savings accounts if you are lucky. 30 days isn't going to amount to anything substantial even at $100k. If the money is gone next month due to refunding people, then you won't get interest over what was there previous month anymore either.
